泉州簪花：“今生簪花，来世漂亮”

福建泉州有个小渔村，这里的房子不是用砖瓦建成的，而是由蚝壳建成。元旦假期，这个村日均客流量达到6万人次，除了参观独特的建筑，更多游客是为了体验一项传承千年的民俗“簪花围”。

In Quanzhou, Fujian, there is a small fishing village where houses are not built with bricks and tiles but with oyster shells. During the New Year holiday, the village attracts an average of 60,000 visitors per day. Besides visiting the unique buildings, many tourists come to experience a thousand-year-old folk custom called "Zanhua Wei" (Adorning Flowers).

“今生戴花，来世漂亮”。随处可见头戴“簪花围”的女性游客，“簪花围”是这里女性特有的头饰。先在脑后盘个圆髻，再用鱼骨或象牙筷，插在髻心上以固定头发，之后用最后围绕花环，对称插上几枝大鲜花或绢花，犹如一座“流动的花园”。

"Adorning flowers in this life, being beautiful in the next life". Female tourists with "Zanhua Wei" headwear can be seen everywhere. "Zanhua Wei" is a unique headpiece for women in this area. First, create a circular bun at the back of the head, then use fishbones or ivory chopsticks to secure the hair. Afterward, wrap the flower crown around and symmetrically insert several large fresh or silk flowers, resembling a "flowing garden".

“簪花围”习俗始于宋元朝代，2008年被列为中国国家级非物质文化遗产。这项花香四溢的习俗承载了渔家人的情感与记忆，体现着这里人民的勤劳质朴，以及对美好生活的向往。

The custom of "Zanhua Wei" originated in the Song and Yuan dynasties and was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2008. This fragrant custom carries the emotions and memories of the fishing community, reflecting the diligence and simplicity of the local people, as well as their yearning for a beautiful life.
